Check it out:

Although GW doesnt just come out and say 6th, it looks a lot like we can expect It on the 23rd

The roumer mongers judgment day is just around the corner. I know I'm excited.

So what do you guys think. What is going to be true, and what is all a sham? Was the leak real, or just a very good knockoff?

I am very excited. I personaly think the leaked rules were as the rumor mongers said, a no limits, what can we come up with rule set. I was one of those ppl that printed off a full copy of the rules and I liked alot of what was in it: the mission generator, AP for H2H, game phase re-arangment. I am in hopes that the random charge distances is not in.(being as i play a assault army.)

I still have the "leak" sitting on my desk. It's a good rule set, and seems to cover everything.

I think whatever they release will be a long and complicated, And take a while to get through.
But I'm ok with that. I would prefer to spend one more week on learning the rules, than spend the next X number of years debating over vague rules or ruleings pulled from multiple parts of the book

I was given the impression today that the actual releas of 6th ed is not the 23rd. The 23rd is the release date for the new White Dwarf issue. So assuming Gw's usual meathods, the issue of WD should have the Official release date. I dont expect the actual release for a week or so after the new White Dwarf.
Idea This kind of makes sence, considering that most major companys start their fiscal years around the first of July. And what a way to boost your first of the year sales numbers. It wouldn't make great sence to drop what is going to be your number one seller at a point where it would effect 2 diffrent budget years.(accounting nightmare Evil or Very Mad ).

But thats just my 2 cents.

yea that is what pat was saying. this is only the date of the release date. it seems to be standard by GW marketing. he went on to say this is where 6th will go on preorder.
