PostSubject: New to the game, old to the hobby   Sat Jul 21, 2012 10:41 pm

I'm new to the game but I've collected, painted, and done everything else in the hobby for quite awhile and I'm mostly just looking for a group to play with semi regularly. I'm in the Springfield area and I know Meta is probably the regular venue however I have a very nice bar height 4' x 8' table in my spare bedroom with quite a bit of nice terrain that would be an option down the road.

I have what I'd guess is a fully painted 2700ish point Death Guard army, and slowly working on Tau. I'm familiar with the rules, but I have quite a ways to go and could use the guidance. I figure now is a good time to start and if I got comfortable enough, maybe do a few tournaments. Anyhow feel free to drop me a line.

Good to go I'd be down for a game this Friday, but this next weekend is dominated by reunions and birthdays. Otherwise my availability is nights and weekends.

I'm not too picky and not sure if there is an unofficial local "standard". 1850?

It seems the current point total average is 1850. With the new rule set changing 2000+ to double force organization, you probably wont see many of those until after 6th has had a chance to settle in.
