I just had a game against pieeater5 at metagames. I was unaware that this group was only playing 5th and didn't know any of those rules. He was a great player and helped me with them throughout the game without complaint. He cheered when my units killed his necrons and was a great sportsman.
Despite the fact that he would have tabled me had the power not gone out I had a great time and look forward to future games with this group.
The number one lesson I learned was to charge necrons. I had a unit of sternguard with pedro kantor leading them that would have gotten 45 basic attacks, 4 power weapon, and 4 power fist attacks had I had the brains to charge. Oh well, there is always next time. Anyone up for a game next saturday?
